"Once I had good fitness habits, I was able to quit smoking with very little weight gain.  I also drastically reduced stress levels, and lost body fat to go down three dress sizes.  I was able to go off certain medications as I lowered my blood pressure, [resting] heart rate, and cholesterol levels."

My success came from taking advantage of everything IHF has to offer:  from swimming in the lap pool, to using the cardio machines and track, to participating in a variety of group fitness classes.  I also worked with the Innovative's specialists including the massage therapist, the nutritionist and the personal trainers.

Innovative has offered me a full range of tools for personal wellness.  My personal trainer, Brian, has especially helped me as I still see and feel the results of his training program.  Brian has really helped to keep me motivated but generally, I am motivated by the way I feel when I work out.  If I miss a workout, I feel dragged out.  Or if my clothes feel a little tighter, I make sure to watch my diet and step up my workouts.

After working out and training at Innovative, I can do most everything in my life now.  Specifically, I have found that everyday chores that require lifting are much easier now.  I practice gymnastics and sports with my grandkids, and I even take them on active vacations.

Cathy has great advice to keep motivated, she says, "Don't give up.  It's easy to quit, but good health and fitness are both goals worthy of hard work.  My achievement remains as my top priority, as I view my success as a total lifestyle change.  Make time for it nearly every day.  Do something good for yourself; you deserve it!"
