I had always said that I was never going to be overweight when I was an adult, and then found myself weighing as much as I did when I delivered both of my kids. It finally hit me when I started seeing myself in pictures and not liking what I saw.
I joined Innovative and originally had a hard time losing weight. I was exercising and doing weights but seeing no results. I knew it had to do with the food I was eating. I received the ExerSpy for my birthday in April. On April 30th I started the program that Phyllis had helped me set up, trying to make sure that I had a caloric deficit each day.
In the beginning, I was lucky if I could run down my driveway, but now I am currently jogging 10 to 15 miles Monday through Friday and am also lifting weights three times a week. The ExerSpy helps me track my calorie intake versus my calorie burn which has been extremely helpful to me. You don't realize the calories you take in if you are not tracking them. All of these things combined have proven to be very successful for me. |
