What brings him to Innovative?
He was hoping to get in shape and was looking for a gym with a whirlpool and pool. His mother was a member in the past so he checked it out and decided to sign up
What’s his routine?
James started with cardio 3x a week and weights 3x a week. Now he’s been training for his very first triathlon so he swims every other day and alternates between running and biking. In his time at IHF he has lost over 41 pounds, 18.6% body fat, and 6 inches!
What James says:
“I joined Innovative in March because I was in the worst shape of my life. I was over 200 pounds and would get exhausted taking out my dogs and even had to take a break after tying one shoe before tying the other. In my Jumpstart trainer sessions, my trainer encouraged me to run even though I couldn’t do more than 1 lap before I was winded. In 15 weeks of tracking my calories and working out 3-4 times a week, I lost over 40 pounds of fat and gained muscle. By June 1st, I had worked up to running 3 miles and did my 1st 5K run. I did my 1st 10K in July, half marathon in September, and just finished my 1st full marathon November 10th. I am excited to train for my first triathlon on 6/6/2020 and hopefully a full Ironman in 2021. Innovative Fitness created an environment where I wanted to succeed. Thank you!”
