Looking for a healthy and sweet treat to celebrate Valentine’s or Galentine’s Day? This dark chocolate sea salt bark is perfect! Add in some Valentine’s Day themed sprinkles for a fun twist!

Ingredients:
1 1/4 cup finely chopped cacao butter
1 cup cacao powder
2 heaping Tbsp almond butter (or favorite nut/seed butter of choice)
2 Tbsp maple syrup (or to taste)
1 healthy pinch sea salt (optional)
1/2 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
Instructions:
1) Heat two inches of water in a medium sauce pan. When water reaches simmer, reduce heat to medium and set a heat safe, medium glass or ceramic bowl on top, making sure the bottom doesn’t touch the water.
2) Add finely chopped cacao butter in mixing bowl and let melt, stirring occasionally with wooden spoon or whisk until melted.
3) Once melted, carefully remove bowl from sauce pan, place on counter, and add in nut/seed butter until well combined. Add cacao powder to a fine mesh strainer and sift into melted cacao butter. Whisk until smooth.
4) Add maple syrup (and salt and vanilla if you choose).
5) Pour your chocolate in mold of choice or an 8×8 lined baking dish. Place in the refrigerator to cool (or freezer if you want to enjoy quicker). Feel free to add your favorite nuts, dried fruit, or more salt on top!
