Ingredients:
3-4 Large boneless, skinless chicken breast
1.5 Cloves of garlic
1.5 Tbsp of ginger, ground
1 Tsp Sage, ground
1 Tsp Thyme, ground
2 Eggs
½ Cup honey
⅛ Cup soy sauce
2 Tsp black pepper
½ Tsp cayenne pepper
1 Cup Flour
½ Tbsp nutmeg, ground
1 Tbsp paprika
2 Tsp salt
1.5 Tbsp Olive oil
4 Tbsp water
Rice or noodles of your choice!
Directions:
Cut chicken into ½ inch thickness
Sift together the flour, salt, black pepper, ginger, nutmeg, thyme, sage, paprika, and cayenne pepper
Make an egg wash by whisking together the eggs and water
Make the honey garlic sauce by adding olive oil and garlic. Heat over medium heat to soften the garlic.
Add the honey, soy sauce, and black pepper. Simmer for about 5 minutes and remove from heat allowing it to cool for a few minutes.
Season the chicken with salt and pepper, then dip the meat into the flour and spice mixture.
Dip the chicken into the egg wash and then a 2nd time into the flour and spice mix.
Heat a skillet on the stove with olive oil covering the bottom.
Fry them gently for 4-5 minutes per side or until golden brown.
Drain on a wire rack for a few minutes before dipping the cooked chicken into the honey garlic sauce.
Serve over noodles or rice!
