Winston loves lifting heavy weights! He knows first hand the lifestyle of loving, and living inside of your comfort zone. And fighting to get out of it. Through that, he has become knowledgeable of how much more control we have of our minds than we think, and how they can be changed for the better. Winston knows the road to a healthier lifestyle can be very challenging, from all of the delicious food we have around us, to the enjoyable entertainment on our screens, it can feel impossible to make a lasting difference for ourselves.       Zana has spent her life in education. From art teacher to administrator to artist/teacher entrepreneur to yoga instructor, her creative approach to teaching sets her apart, encouraging students to explore, grow and transform. She currently teaches Hatha Yoga, Core Chair Yoga, and Beginner Yoga. In addition, Zana works with cognitively challenged seniors at a number of retirement centers.

          Dalfim

          Dalfim has always enjoyed being fit. He knows what it’s like to go through the ups and downs of keeping a routine. However, that doesn’t stop him from giving his all, while achieving his goals – in fitness or in life. Dalfim is obsessed with obstacle course racing and has done numerous OCR races (Spartan Races, Warrior Dash, BattleFrog, Tough Mudder, Savage Race, OCR World Championship). He’s also done longer endurance events like BattleFrog’s BFX Multiple lap races, Spartan Race’s 12HR Hurricane Heat, and Gut Check’s The Suck 12HR (working towards the main event of completing their 36 hour one), and plans to participate in ‘Worlds Toughest Mudder’ added to his bucket list. Family is very important to Dalfim. He feels improving oneself or participating in an activity that you’re passionate about is essential in all aspects to be a better version of yourself life and to the people around you.


          FITNESS PHILOSOPHY

          Life will throw you a curve ball – we’ve all experienced that. But, every now and then, we fall into the trap of being in our comfort zone for far too long. It’s not good to be stagnant. Life was meant to be lived to the fullest. Get out there and try something new – drag someone along for the ride, as well. When you look back, it will all be worth it. Invest in yourself, and your health and you’ll reap the benefits of a more rewarding life.

              I’ve been teaching group fitness for years and continue to help you sweat and get stronger, all while having fun! Throughout my time at Innovative, I have met so many inspiring people. I know that it is important to tailor my workouts to all abilities so that any and everyone can achieve their fitness goals. In addition to teaching group fitness, I maintain a full time job as a nurse practitioner in cardiology. My husband and I both enjoy teaching group fitness and know how important it is to be good role models for our son and daughter!

                  Fitness has been a part of my life since I received my first set of weights at 12 years old. I participated in high school sports, which translated to running and weightlifting after school, and then sprint triathlons with my son. Even though my exercise routine has changed over the years from running and weightlifting to cycling and swimming, I still try to work out five or six times a week. It is a big part of my life.
